1988 Russian Fairy Tale Plate. Bradford Exchange collector plate, 1st in the Series of Russian Folk Legends. This plate features a scene based on a poem by Alexander Pushkin, and shows a beautifully colorful picture of Ruslan on a rearing horse before a wonderful fairy tale castle. Ludmilla can be seen just above the castle spires, while the evil wizard who kidnapped her flies over the scene. It very detailed, hand painted with 18 Karat Gold permanently fired into fine porcelain. Russia’s rich artistic heritage done in dramatic & striking detail.  1988, Tianex #4383 AO, Bradex No. 60-V25-1.1. Measures 7 ¾ inches. Like new.
