I'm sitting here
listening to Sirius Satellite radio on the internet and more specifically to
Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville hoping to get an inspiration to write
something meaningful when all of a sudden one of the greatest oldies songs
comes on; "No Particular Place To Go" by
Chuck Berry. Seriously? Is that irony or what?. I certainly have no place to go
with this newsletter and who figured it out? Chuck Berry of all of all
people!
We'll see what
happens while I try to muddle
my way through this and hopefully come up with enough to keep you
interested:
We've just added one
of the most beautiful, and seemingly the
most popular wedding gowns for 2009. If you Google, David's Bridal Style
T9612 you'll find pages of entries related to this dress. If you or someone
you know has been looking for this dress, look no further. It's a size
6, brand new-as in never worn- Style T9612 gown and matching veil with
a price of only $650. That's a $335 savings off retail. Add sales tax to the
minus column and you're talking about a savings of over $400! You have to
admit that $400 is a nice chunk of change when you're knee high in wedding
debt.
We're still waiting on the jewelry designer. Apparently she's been
bogged
down with moving her residence and also working on fulfilling a writing
assignment obligation. All of which has pushed us to the
burner behind the back burner. As they say; all good things are worth
waiting for, so we'll wait.
We have the coolest
Ed Hardy hoodie in on consignment. Anything to do with Ed Hardy is so popular
and especially with the
kids. It's Brand New,
and is one of his infamous designs. A California native, Don Ed Hardy is
recognized around the world for his technical brilliance and mesmerizing
imagery. Hoodie is like new, size Small-$60.00.
The
small group of Antique and new linens I mentioned in our last newsletter are
finally on the site. I think you'll see some pretty nice things if you like
the crocheted or Battenburg Lace doilies. Check out the work on this doily
feature a Battenburg lace design attached to linen fabric.
I have a group of jewelry items I'm going to be adding
soon. If you
take what you see in the photo at face value, it all looks like a bunch of
junk. Sure some items will probably find their way into the trash bin, but
there are also some things I think you might like.
Boo!
You know it's going to sneak up on us if we don't start planning for
it now. What am I talking about? Halloween! This year Halloween falls on a
Saturday, which is the perfect night for parties and putting together
haunted houses to scare all the kids in the neighborhood! How much fun is
that? Fortunately, one of our consignee's alerted me today that she'll be
sending us Halloween
items to add to the site and probably by the weekend. I don't know what
she's sending, but I'm sure whatever she sends will go quickly.
I almost forgot to mention our reduced shipping prices!
I can't believe something so important slipped my mind. So here's the deal;
due to the state of the economy we have reduced our shipping charges to
$4.95 on every package to everywhere in
the Continental United States of America. We're doing our best to help out
our fellow man/woman and child where ever possible. |
