Once in a Blue Moon Online Thrift Store • Blog • Amazon Store When is the first day of Summer 2009? According to Answer.com: In the Northern hemisphere, based on astronomical definition, summer begins on the day of the June solstice, which is at 1:45 A.M. EDT on June 21, 2009. While many Western calendars may mark June 21, 2009 as the beginning of summer, note that summer begins on June 20, 2009, at 10:45 P.M. PDT in California. So it either starts on June 20, 2009 or on June 21, 2009. Hmmm.. Good to know! I hope you enjoyed this issue of our newsletter and will look forward to our next issue. Remember, if you have a story, or anything you would like to share, please send it to sharon@gone-tomorrow.com and we'll include it in our newsletter. Let me tell you what I know about the small ad on this page: It belongs to www.swagbucks.com and according to their web site/search engine you are rewarded with Swag Bucks for every search you perform. The Swag Bucks can be redeemed for merchandise of your choosing. This is what they say: www.swagbucks.com is a search engine that offers you the chance to win cool prizes from swagbucks.com every time you search. We believe very strongly in rewarding our users for their loyalty and our prizes are our way of thanking you. No registration is required. Try it, you'll be hooked - we guarantee it!
