Never in my imagination did I think the Lucy Fitch Perkins books would be of such wonderful QUALITY!!!
Honestly, I thought I was buying very small, hardly readable books. These here are PRECIOUS!!! They are of much better quality, of much larger size and much more adorable than I ever thought they would be! The colors are bright and I can't wait to "read" into them!!!
Our children wait daily for parcels from our postal worker. It's a rare day when we don't get at least one. I truly believe that this will be one of their fondest memories when they look back on their childhoods. Sharon - you should have heard them calling out the names of the books from your package! And just the other day I found one or two vintage magazines at eBay and from the listed advertisements I found featured paper cut-out dolls from these books - in color. I was able to find the Cave Twins and one other. Of course I bought them - not for the magazine but for a surprise when we read these books. Whenever I can, I try to purchase one object to go with each of the books I really like - then as we read, or after we finish, I pull out the "surprise". I've been known to purchase antique dairy farm milk jugs (the big ones) to teach about old fashioned cow milking, Civil War uniforms for our twin boys to learn about the Civil War, you name it, I've attempted to buy it for a lesson. (Sound familiar my Sister in Shopping?)
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with ALL of the items we purchased from you. I'd love to purchase more in the future, God willing. I'll try to send another note with a funny story about our thrift store "adventures" when I am able.

I am all about purses, why do you charge SOOO much for crap ppl GIVE you??? I dont understand! I can get cheaper at walmart or target on clearance than the old used crap you are selling, not near worth what you are selling it for! Unless YOU know it is 'vintage' and worth some money....YOU should be marking these items at a $1 or $2....Do you really think you can make $15 off of an 80's used purse that was made??? Gag! Mark 15 of your items at $2 and you could make some more money! Come on this stuff was given to you!!!!

I’d like to first set the record straight by letting you know that we’re not ‘given’ anything. Any merchandise on the site that is ours, was bought and paid for by us. That said; a lot of the merchandise on the site now is with us through consignment and the consignor sets the price they need/want for the item. We do too for that matter.

In looking through the purse category this morning, I didn’t see any used purses for $15.00 as what you mentioned. There are used purses of course only they’re priced under $10. The rest of the purses are all new. Of the used bags that are ours I can agree with you on a couple that could stand a price adjustment. But if I did nothing, you still have the power by taking advantage of our Name Your Price Sale. You don’t have to settle for what we’re asking, you can submit an offer and if it’s accepted you’re a happy camper.

I will now go visit the purses again and will adjust prices on the items that are ours. I’m not sure yet if any will go down to $1 or $2; only that I will lower the prices.

Again, I want to thank you for your comments, because what you think about us does matter.

I just wanted to let you know I really like the stuff I ordered. Everything fits.  The Susan Graver )sp) reversible  jacket is the exact same pattern on my eyeglass frames.  Someone pointed that out to me!  Anyway, thanks a bunch. The 2 two piece sets I have purchased work well for me because I had a double mastectomy and the jacket offers a little extra coverage over the tank top to my now flat chest!  They took my boobs and all they gave me was a lousy t-shirt!!!!  It’s been a little over two years now and it’s all a bad mammary.
